The nation’s capital and home to nearly half of Uruguay’s population, Montevideo is a vibrant, eclectic place with a rich cultural life. For decades, La Liga Sanitaria (The League of Sanitation/Health), which was acquired by Rentokil Initial in 2019, has been located in “El Cordón”, a traditional quarter of Montevideo. Each day, our more than 150 professionals share the neighbourhood with hundreds of people who live there.
That’s why colleagues decided to #sharethelove by supporting the health and wellbeing of our neighbours, giving a disinfection service in the streets, sidewalks and building fronts that surround our offices. With the approval of the city authorities, we applied our disinfection products along six blocks.
Days before the disinfection service was done, we delivered a flyer to all houses, buildings and companies involved in the action zone, to keep them informed. That was warmly welcomed and thanked!
