Across America, colleagues are taking part in an incredible 75 #sharethelove events to say thank you and support the ‘hometown heroes’. We salute each and every one.
Here’s the first selection of stories:
Trey Eanes of Steritech led the charge to feed the staff of the Chesterfield Food Bank in Chester, NC. Working with Five Guys to provide the meals, the district was able to feed more than 30 staff and volunteers and donate funds to their cause.
Our team in O’Fallon partnered with Red Robin to show their appreciation to all the staff at Fort Zumwalt School District. These workers, which provide lunch to more than 1,000 kids each day, have been serving breakfast and lunch to any child who needs it for the last nine weeks. The team was able to feed 63 staff members to show their appreciation for their service in the community.
The program in Houston, TX, was led by Donald Barron, who chose Memorial Hermann Medical Center Hospital to say thank you. The hospital is designated as the facility for COVID-19 patients, and the Steritech team worked with Chick-fil-a to cater lunch for the hardworking healthcare professionals.
Colleagues in Knoxville, TN, delivered care packages to their own hometown heroes: Trinity Hills of Knoxville, a local assisted living facility. The team was able to provide treats to more than 70 staff members who have been working to keep their elderly residents safe and healthy.
Hannah Herrera, Steritech Account Manager, provided a local fire department South Adams County Fire District with a grocery gift card, a letter of thanks and a certificate of gratitude. The Colorado-based fire district expressed their appreciation and will fund a dinner with a few other fire departments in the area.
Kari Ennis of Steritech worked with her team to honour their local #HometownHeroes – the Food Bank of Southern California. The team presented the food bank with lunch for the hard-working staff and volunteers.
